So far, I have avoided getting a cold or the flu and thankfully, Todd and the kids have stayed healthy too.

Everyone I know is worried about getting the flu right now. The first thing I recommend is take an honest look at your current stress level. Most of us know that stress is unhealthy, but not everyone realizes how super hard stress is on your immune system!

Now more than ever, we need to de-stress our lives and give our immune system all the help we can provide.

Here are my Top 5 Ways to avoid the Flu

Stay away from sugar. Before meal blood sugars are 70-99. Itโ€™s estimated that a blood sugar level of 120 reduces your immune system by up to 75%!

 

 

High quality supplementation and probiotic. Supplementing our healthy diet is so important for an optimal immune system. 70% of our immune system is in the walls of our gut.

 

 

Meditation is how I begin my day. Quiet time alone focused on your breathing can boost your immune system. Meditation can be practiced anywhere, for any amount of time. One type of meditation commonly used as a stress management technique is called Transcendental Meditation. Itโ€™s simple to do. Itโ€™s recommended that you practice for 20 minutes, two times a day. You sit with your eyes closed and repeat a mantra of your choice.

I felt stuck for a week, and yesterday I had a breakthrough ๐Ÿ™‚

I am shifting in my business and it FEELS DIFFERENT.

For 2 weeks it felt, not so good. Sluggish.

What if no one does anything? If I switch my focus and follow the well-being, I know that leads me, but will I reach my goals?

For all of these questions I already had the answers, but the SHIFT can really rattle a girl for a minute! ย 

Growth feels different and sometimes it feels bittersweet. It is necessary as I CHOOSE to move forward but the FEELING, because it is new, can feel uncomfortable. So riding it out is a CHOICE.

I choose to ride it out, because, from experience, I know that I am SHIFTING and getting ready for the next level of ME. The feeling of “pressure” isn’t a bad thing. ย A diamond doesn’t get to be a diamond, without some pressure.

The breakthrough happened, and the FEELING is SO GOOD.
